What does it mean to find rest?

Your identity, worth, and value aren’t found in what you do, but who’s you are

Welcome to Find Rest. A couple years ago, I wrote a book called Soul Rest, and in doing so discovered that it’s contents represented what I believe to be my “life’s message.” The book represents my journey toward discovery of the refreshment my soul longed for as I was headed toward burnout, disillusionment, and loneliness. After sharing my story, I quickly discovered that many people could relate to where I was and hoped to find rest themselves. I came to the realization that all I wanted to do for the rest of my life was walk alongside people, pointing to hope in Jesus, and guiding people toward living the free and light life He offers.

Three pathways

At Find Rest, we focus on working through three primary pathways as we walk alongside those searching for the rest that comes from the Gospel of Jesus.

Conversation - let’s talk about it

You might be wondering if this is an idea that you need to explore. Maybe you are experiencing burnout, or maybe you never want to find yourself in that place. Let’s set up a time to connect and talk about some next right steps.

Connection - Learning & growing

We regularly offer bible studies, learning communities, and retreats that can assist in the journey toward finding rest. If you’d like more information about any of these opportunities, let us know!

CULTIVATION - Resources for growth

We are continually developing resources that can be a supplement or bring clarity and understanding to what it means to find rest. For more info, give us a shout.

Anxiety, stress, and worry can stem from our self-reliance as we navigate life. When we rest in God’s work and follow His direction, we begin to live in rhythm.

GET STARTED

For so many of us, finding rest sounds like wishful thinking. Something impossible. But the invitation of Jesus is the complete opposite. In Matthew 28, He describes a life lived “free and light”. How do we find this kind of deep soul rest? In this message from Pastor Curtis Zackery, we’ll explore a roadmap to finding rest and experiencing the fullness of a life powered by the Gospel.
